This varies slightly from case to case. However, we proceed as follows:

  • Checking the application documents: First of all, we in the HR team check the application documents you have sent
  • First contact: If we see potential for collaboration, an initial telephone call follows to clarify the most important key facts.
  • Interview: This may be followed by an invitation to our company or an appointment via Teams with the potential supervisor in order to get to know you personally. The focus is on your skills and personality (no assessment center or similar). This gives you the opportunity to get to know our company and your future colleagues and superiors.
  • Commitment: If both sides are happy, the final contract will be negotiated and once signed, we can get started!

You usually have the interview with one person from the HR team and one or two of our colleagues. This is usually your future supervisor and someone from the same department. We want to get to know you in a relaxed atmosphere and give you the opportunity to tell us about yourself, explain your motivation for the job and clarify your questions. After the conversation, we will of course show you the respective work area and the entire house as part of a house tour.

After the application process, your data will remain stored in our system for a maximum of 6 months.

In the first step, your CV is enough for us. A cover letter is not necessary.

Yes! All we need is a note in your email that you are also interested in other positions.

You will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt from us by email. Please also check your spam folder if necessary. If you don’t receive any confirmation, please contact us directly (by phone or email).

In any case! Often it is just nuances that are the deciding factor in rejection. We would be happy if you keep an eye on our careers page and apply again.

You will be able to put your German and English skills at at least C1 level to collaborate with us.

This is not possible for every position, but just let us know your wishes and we will then examine the options and do our best to find a solution that suits you and us.

First day of work: Approximately 1 week before your first day of work, you will receive an email from us with information about your first day of work and an induction plan from your department management. The day begins with a short introduction to organizational topics by the HR department. Your sponsor will then provide technical support in the relevant department and support your integration into the team.

Dress code: We are happy about business casual.

Topic „Du“ or „Sie“ in Germany? There is a “Du” culture at ConverterTec. For this reason, we have also opted for the “Du form” in the career area. Admittedly, this is not that easy for the first personal contact. Not everyone wants to be referred to as their first name and of course we respect that. Therefore, communication during the application process can also take place in “Sie” form if desired. At the latest when the contract is signed, we usually switch to “Du” – assuming your consent, of course.

Benefits: In addition to a pleasant working atmosphere with invaluable colleagues, modern work equipment and a strong focus on work-life balance, we enable you to develop your personal development plan in order to offer you long-term prospects at ConverterTec. For this purpose, we organize further training tailored to your needs and enable you to acquire certifications. Many of our employees have been with us since their apprenticeships and some for over 25 years, which is a sign for us that the family atmosphere is a great thing.

Feedback: We have a strong feedback culture. Every employee has at least 1 conversation with his/her superior per year. Likewise, the entire day-to-day work at ConverterTec relies on constant mutual support and strong teamwork.

Our goal is to optimally welcome and introduce our new colleagues. Before starting work, all employees receive detailed information by email as well as their induction plan, which prepares them for their first weeks at ConverterTec. In the first few weeks, all new employees are accompanied by their sponsor, who provides them with advice and support, making it easier to get started in the new environment.
