Partial sale of our R&D Department incl. IP rights of the new business areas – we keep your wind turbines running –
Dear customers and partners,
Herewith we would like to provide you, as our valued partners, with some answers and explanations regarding the current partial sale of our R&D Department.
As you have already learned from the media, our new business fields Hydrogen and Battery Storage including the OEM Engineering and licenses have been sold to KK Wind Solutions from Denmark.
The licensing rights of all technologies in the current systems and current aftermarket products will of course remain with ConverterTec Deutschland GmbH. The serial production and testing of the current systems will also remain with ConverterTec.
Of course, service will continue – as usual – with technical support, training, IBN, documentation, spare parts, discontinuation management, on-site service, etc. For you as our customer in the aftermarket and service area, basically very little will change.
Through this partial sale, we will concentrate more on all current and future products in the aftermarket and service area together with our Aftermarket Engineering Team. Product support and further development of the products currently on the market will be provided by our Aftermarket Engineering Team.
